This is very creative, and so simple. I see alot of potential with this one, find a different liquid. A few tweaks and it could make a great scanner for making patterns.

It is really cool though
A person has to know their limitations, I know I have none..
I looked into the David software, but it didn't work out for me. If I had a better laser and/or webcam, maybe it would have. But, my patience wore thin and I gave up. I thought it had potential and if it worked, it would not be as messy as milk covered legos after my kids came in the room.
