I really like this AI pattern. I know not to everyone's taste but it calls to my dark inner soul. lol

Need to clean up the pattern and maybe add some more elements. I have a piece of cedar calling it.

This is what I finally came up with. I am going to try to carve this tomorrow in cedar. 7" x7" x.5".

Right out of the CW and quick sanding to knock off the big fuzzies. Eastern red cedar. When I apply some lacquer its going to really pop.

Really does pop. I hadn't thought about using cedar, really adds contrast that especially works with the subject. Have you taken up air brushing? The ability to add shading and hints of color can add to a project.

Got to agree it really pops. I like the air brush idea, my son has been doing a little air brushing now with his 3d printer projects and what he can do with it is very impressive. He claims it is easy. amazing the look he can get, I didn't know the talent he has.

Thanks all. I actually bought a cheap air brush for my own 3d projects to learn with but haven't gotten to it yet. Too many hobbies/projects and too much procrastination.
