Steampunk Ouija Box
This is a prop I constructed to use at Teslacon, a Midwest steampunk convention held in Madison Wisconsin. The Ouija Board is the only part made on the Carvewright; I wanted to do the gears too but time was a problem and the plastic Maker gears looked so good and functioned well, twenty bucks well spent. The board is 1/4 inch transparent Corian. The carvings are filled with green fluorescent paint and illuminated from above. a six inch plasma disk modified to run on batteries illuminate the board from underneath. Lots of fun and an attention getter. Questions welcome.
