Default Adding your own bits sizes to dialog box?

Seem like a long tine ago I read that anybody could add a new bit size to "bit selection dialog box".
If this is possible, please direct me to the article.
    Thanks

It is one off those ideas that pops up once in a while. LHR does experiment with many new ideas but, as far as I know, that one has not yet made it. Maybe what you read was in the wishlist thread?

It's a shame. I walk past all the router bits at home depot and I imagine all the cool stuff I could do with some of them in a carvewright (and I see the bulk of them priced well under $40 for GOOD quality bits), but I can't seem to find the 6° tapered ball end carving bits anywhere. It'd be nice to be able to save some money on bits.
