    I do not see anything wrong with what you tried. Could your machine be set to metric? 0 - 5 - arrow down to 5 and check. It will say (metric) or (std).

    The only place it is saved is on the flash card anymore... it has been there for 5 years...actually was the project I was working on when my machine had MANY catastrophic failures... And I cn not figure out how to get it off the card

    figured it out I believe... the set screw on the quick change adapter has broken through the quick change chuck and is potruding out by 1/16 from side of quick change chuck....

    actually I dont'think that has anything to do with it after all... what is the chance since the project was made so many years ago that the firmware could be the issue?

    I was able to get it to carve as is by entering 15/16... no we shall see how it goes the bit is wedged in there... but I guess I will start a thread to figure that out...

    In hindsite I believe this issue may have been caused by a loose bit... not a loose chuck... a loose bit... Heads up people that have this issue in the future...
