help with pattern

hello all, I have attached a pattern I'm working on and am trying to get the two sets of lines coming from the smaller circles to be cuts so that there is a slot between the circle and the outside of the pattern. Can anyone explain how to do this.

Is this what you are looking for? It is 3.102 which I assume you have.

Arcs and the trim tool were required to do this. Do you have the 2d tools?

Sorry, I just realized your original file was Designer 2. Here it is in 2.

Bergerud, That is what I was looking for. Thanks you. I just have the standard 2.0 and no add ons.

The trim tool made that easy. Another way would be to approximate it by "tracing" parts of the circles with arcs and connecting to the line segments. Or, make carve regions in such a way that their outline would give you the shape.
