Z axis stall and edge detection failed

Z axis stall err E06-0313 and edge detection failed err E03-0400

I've replaced the board sensor and still getting these error messages. When checking the sensor while moving the truck assembly across the board it goes from 149-151 to 0. It seems to happen closer to the keypad side for some reason.

This machine is the original version with the sandpaper belts.

Any ideas on on what it might be?

Sounds like the FFC ribbon or its connections. Check it for fatigued wires or cracks.

I think I'm going to do the A907 upgrade and see if that resolves the problem

Replaced the FFC cable and problem solved! Back to carving! Thanks again!

When replacing the cable make sure that it don't rub on the y-motor on it's travel and has clearance.
