Yeah, based on the fact that I'm located where the machine may get used in a little cooler temps, I opted to degrease it while I had it all apart and switched it over to dry lube.

I applied the Dupont Teflon stuff to the leadscrews, tie rod, and posts and it is working fine. Holds 80 lbs. right on the money every time so far.

Reapplying the dry lube is no big deal and it looks like a can of that stuff is going to go a long way as it doesn't take much to do the trick.

Cleanup is a snap because the dust doesn't seem to stick to it. I leave the dust collector running after I remove a project, I shut off the CarveWright then use a quick shot of low pressure air to blow any stray dust towards the Ringneck dust hood, and the machine's clean.

So far, I'm a fan.
