I am in the same boat. Desperately looking for a 14 pin FFC. I am really not enjoying have to just sit and look at my machine. I am in KS if anyone local has one. I can also provide shipping costs to anyone that would be willing to ship one.

!have a spare one but I am in Canada Ontario and just 15 min from the border to cross and ship it if you need it you always can make your own
