ok, I have a hard time figureing that out .
Henry, I had to play with it too.... I know how to do it with the offset and making squares and assigning a bit and the depth.. its saves machine time.... Maybe Dan can explane to the both of us how to do the very end of the pocket cut.
Why can't you just copy and paste it on the back of the clock?
Try this one. I just used "Path Offset" (several times) at a distance of .1" and assigned the 1/8" cutting bit to a depth of .180. I also inset the first rectangle by .063".

Copy and paste works for me. You have to have both projects open at the same time.
My method of making pockets is to try and copy what drill does. I think it is important to do it in a single vector. Concentric closed vectors forces the machine to lift the bit up and down as it starts and finishes each vector. With a single vector and the bit stays down. Faster with a smoother floor and edge. I go clockwise from inside out so the bit does not climb mill.
