Default Lost Forum Password, how to Reset

My second computer lost the stored forum password during a virus scan (probably deleted the cookie). How do you reset the password if you have lost it? It prompts for the current one on here to change it.

    Thanks!

Don't you just log on again? It asks if you want to be remembered. Confirm and it adds the cookie.

I don't remember what the password is, it's been over a year Most sites have a way to reset your password and it e-mails a link to reset... If the option is there, I don't see it.

I see what you are saying. I could not find a way either. You may be able to find you password from your browser. In Firefox - options - security will give you a list of saved passwords.

Maybe you can change your password on the computer which remembers it. (under settings - edit profile)

Yup, that's where it is asking for the current password - Feeling pretty bone-headed at the moment

Just go ahead with a wrong password. It will give you the option to have change password instructions emailed.

That did it! I did have to go through all 5 attempts before getting the option to have it reset. Now I have to wait the 15 Minutes before I can log in.

This detailed for the next person that needs to reset
