Thread: Text Carving Problems

  1. Default Text Carving Problems

    I am trying to carve text and the letters keep chipping out. Any help would be great.

    Font Ariel Black Bold
    Spacing 10
    Depth.200
    Height 999
    Size 3.5' x 1"
    Bit Opt. Best
    Feather 1/8
    Draft Small

    What carve quality did you use for the upload to the card? I would suggest maybe lowering the height. Looks like pine which is prone to chip out. Set draft to medium.

    Thank you for responding I used Best quality to upload. Wood is poplar. what should I lower the heigth to?

    I would maybe try 500 on the height and see if a medium draft would help.

    I would say shorten the height to under 500.
