Default Help with cnc mini project

I am doing the football mini project and I am having trouble. I am using the plaque, football, shirt and helmet. The plaque is carved out at a depth of 1/4 inch when I place it on my board and I try and put the jersey, football and helmet on it they disappear. the depth on the football, jersey and helmet are also 1/4 inch I even tried to put the height on 999 still cant see them.

    Thanks Kevin

    Kevin,

Try adjusting the depth and height of each pattern and changing the Merge functions and possibly Group and Clip Carving function too. I wrote a Tips & Tricks years ago on this topic and might be helpful for you. Here's the link:

Do you have the license for the 3D Suite add-on software? If so, there is a Tilt function which is handy for overlaying patterns if you ever need to do that. (That feature did not exist when I wrote the Tips article referenced above.)

ID:	72622I appreciate that. but its a project I purchased from cnc mini projects I know it works other people have been doing it the picture I posted is one that someone did. I know it's me there is something in the software thati don't understand how to put the 3 items on top of the plaque.

After putting the plaque on your virtual board, place your cursor over the area you want to put the other items. In the lower left corner of your screen you will see the surface depth of the sign. Make your helmet and jersey depth the same as this.

Or just click on the sign and set the depth at .4 instead of .25 and see what happens.
Also if you have used the merge feature on any parts, remove it.
