Hey all I am Mike from Mississippi, I am a newbie, I am trying to convert a file to mpc so I can try my hand at carving a photo. I am thankful for any and all help and looking forward to being able to learn and one day help someone else.

What part of MS are you in? There might be someone close that could give you vital information.

Hi Mike -you sent me a PM the other day, I sent you my e-mail address back on a PM, Photographs are almost imposable to do with the CW unit. If you are good at making a line drawing or know a good looking Girl that can draw; It can be done with a $30.00 program called ShaderMap Pro - you need a grayscale height map image. Start with a good line drawing that is at least 300 DPI (dots-per-inch)

So that's how you do your stuff. I will have to log that software for a future investment.
    Thanks
