    Cobster,
the filigree is dry brushed with acrylic paint. This just gives a hint of color allowing the definition of the carve to show.

Thanks Mike, Cheryl and I spent about 1.5 to 2 years learning the program and the machine before we started selling plaques and carvings, we wanted to be able to offer quality products that we could stand by. This is going to be our retirement business, I have about 4 years to go at the factory so right now Cheryl does most of the work . I pretty much just handle sanding staining and machine maintenance. Just got our 3rd machine up and running,

    Rick,

I just noticed that you are a Buckeye (maybe transplanted).
Also just followed your link to your site, very nice.
Great pictures and great reviews, good for you and Cheryl.

I would say that you are well on your way to a good retirement business.
