Default For Sale: Carvewright / Compucarve system - low usage, upgraded & includes 3 bits!

    $900 OBO. Details here:
    http://charlottesville.craigslist.or...234370172.html

Carvewright Sears Compucarve CNC system with low usage - under 5 hours cut motor time! Upgraded & comes with 2 standard bits plus a 60-degree v-bit.

The Sears compucarve was an early generation of the carvewright system (I believe version A), but this one got the a907 upgrade less than a year ago which includes: new z moter, new style fsc cable and head termination board. It also has new cover switch & wires.

    Includes:
    - Carvewright Sears Compucarve 921754, upgraded with a907 upgrade
    - 3 bits - 1/16" carving bit, 1/8" cutting bit, and a 60-degree v-bit
    - extra QuickRout bit holders
    - memory card & card reader

I also purchased the centerline software ($99). According to carvewright, this is non-transferrable…but if we can figure it out, it's yours.

The machine has very low usage, but it has one issue: it likely will need a new traction belt. This one got caught and has torn (see pictures). Serial Number A W.005.155. Sold as-is

Overall it is in good shape. Selling because I couldn't ever get it to do exactly what I needed it to do, and didn't have the time to master it. Comes with original box.

Agree a little high. My machine was almost the same as what you describe, without the A907 upgrade when I bought it. Cost me about $800 just to replace parts that degrade from not being used, upgrading etc. Since it has the upgrade I'm thinking $5-600 may be more in the ball park?
