I think perhaps one of your best sources might be "Liquid Guitars", who is a luthier and been around here for a long time.

    Default Black Hole Solution

Here is a possible solution to the pesky hole(s).

    1) Outlone the area and apply a Carve region the same depth & height as the rest of the figure.
    2) Now, "Select", and apply, a texture such as "Checkering" and set the interval at 0.001.
    3) The area should now appear different than the rest of the figure.

    Default Plaque and Info

Hey all. Here is a plaque I did for a T-ball team and one.

    Also,

for those doing faces, I found a program that will do 3-d heads from a front and side picture. See if you like it. Kim Kommando (Radio Computer geek) recommend it on her site. It's free and I have found the imported pictures look fantatic in the design program.

Here is the progam web site www.looxis.com the progam is Faceworks. Enjoy

    Ray,
Is the sculpture from the Remington collection or did you carve that from an image from the Remington collection? It's beautiful and I wonder if it's available from some source, I'd sure be interested in it The pedestal really fits, Well done. Both the Indian and base are exquisite.

Great patterns any chance the Indian and horse could be a double sided carve.
