    Hey Hesstx,

I love the plan you posted and really want to make it.... but!!!
1.) I've never worked anything from these sort of plans.
2.) You say this is not for the CW... but could it be?
3.) If so how would I go about it?

Right now I'm not doing much of anything since my run-in with a table saw on Tuesday. I was VERY lucky since I have full feeling and range of motion of all 4 fingers on my right hand. Just a matter of waiting for the flesh to heal.

Meanwhile I've worked out a system to use the software and my trackball so learning would help pass the time and maybe stay out of other trouble.

I would like someday to layout and use the CW to make puzzle boxes. My precision in woodworking is somewhat lacking. I'm hoping the software and CW will compensate for that.

Can and would you please help me with this... if it is possible?

    Thanks so much.

Default Source for Cad drawings and stl files.

Here is a source for many simular items like in the last few posts. If you have Google Sketchup or similar program,s you can make patterns from these files. They do make one stipulation however. " Note that by downloading any of these files, you agree that the files will not be used for manufacturing"

    Default An Original Onlay

This onaly is available to everyone. It is made from patterns that are included with Designer. Keep in mind that I have not made any cut paths with this. They are still the seperate patterns from our Basics folder. Maybe some of you more talented Designer artists can create a cut pat and repost for all! Hint,Hint

Default Good to meet you, too.

That is so great! Thank you very much, Hess.

What a learning tool the web is.

With lots of work, I would expect that puzzle boxes to be within the CW machine's ability.

I love wind chimes and I'd bet there would be different tones from the different woods. Sounds exciting as a possibility.

    I'm off to the link!

Hess, were you able to come close to where the harp video is?

I was lost for hours on the SmithShop site last night. You're so right about the size of that site. And I couldn't find a site map either.

Any help would be sooo appreciated.
