I was asked to make a sign for our church's nativity set.
The ribbon banner could be stretched and re-sized for other projects. The top and bottom of the ribbon pattern have a bit of an edge that remained when using the cut-out function. I just sanded this away, but I'm posting the image so if someone wanted they could import it to the Pattern Editor and trim the edges a bit.
I used a free font called Deutsch Gothic for this sign. I think it fit well, had the look I wanted but was not overly elaborate. A search will turn it up if you're interested.
I'm not an artistic painter, but this turned out OK. I used ordinary off-white latex wall paint applied with a roller for a bit if texture, then wiped on and off an acrylic stain for the antique effect. Black acrylic letters. Coated with a clear matte spray.

Well crud, I can't save it because I don't have the vector software! Oh well maybe somebody can use this great top!
