Thread: Fall show items

  1. Default Fall show items

Spent a couple of days working on some new projects for the upcoming fall / holiday shows. Heres some that the CW helped out with.

Jewelry box, lacquered poplar box with clear finished cherry lid. Decorative rosette from CW is also lacquered poplar.

Small jewely box for "Pandora" beads and braclets. Also lacquered box with cherry top and CW decorative scroll. Has post for bead storage and flocked bracelet storage.

Eye glass case lacquered poplar the halves are carved out on the CW then flocked and glued together.

    Thanks

Nice choice of items, and they look great. Hope you sell them all and get lots of orders.

What types of shows/sales do you prefer? What part of the country do you travel in for your sales?

I have daydreamed of joining forces with other cavers or crafts people to afford, staff and fill a booth that would have more traffic and appeal than I could make worthwile on my own.

Your pieces are distinctive, well made and very appealing. I do think other carvers would be interested in your experiences with the holiday craft market.

    Best of luck.

Excellent work, Daniel! Those should move faster than you can make them - very nice collection of items!
