Here is an old model I found that I had made a while back. I was playing around with some weidd shapes and such for frame and this is what came out of it.
you can download it here http://cncmodelclub.com/portfolio/fr...iral-rosettes/
The site cncmodelclub is a site I had built out of two hobbies - web design and modeling. This is not much out there in terms of 2.5d modeling information so I figured why not build your own. Goal is to have stuff in one place and more geared towards tutorials and learning all the different methods and techniques of 2.d modeling in one spot. There is no charge to join but I have registration set up to safeguard agaisnt e-bay theives and spam. If anyone has any modeling stuff they would like to share - ie tutorials models etc - let me know.
Excellent work on the model and the website, John! Sounds like it will be a great resource for all.

Your welcome Tom..Glad you could use the blade...did the ends of the blade carve ok..meaning the carbide tip part?..Was curious when I modeled it it looked small so wasn't sure if it would come out ok
They were a little small, only half carved out. You might be able to see the ones in the lower right. We will see how they see at my show this weekend.
