Default Build a 14x8 foot, 8 foot high Solar Kiln

This is a slide show of how to build a 14x8 foot, 8 foot high Solar Kiln. This is some what, like the one I built about 20 years ago, (I plan to rebuild it with Twin-wall polycarbonate this winter and sort the lumber I cut this summer. The 4x8 sheets cost $58.00 each, it will take about 14 sheets). I may build a few of these other Kilns next year. I have been cutting 4x4 12 foot long timbers for this project. I only have about 12 of then cut now. And I have 4 stacks of one inch stock for the siding. That should be enough to build at least one.

I will use Solar panels to run the fans, and I have the 400watt inverter for 120 volts if I can’t find 12 volt fans.
