    Smile More Fun

Raining again, time to do some of the projects list.

    Hello to all,

I crossed off the to-do list #1 a couple more projects, the #2 list is to do the project again and that list is getting huge, I say lists I mean books.
The stagecoach carve is 9” by 2” and done with the optimal setting I am very pleased with the detail that this machine can produce.
It all starts with great patterns.
On the “Baroque corner shelf” I tried the Amber Shellac that Doc. Recommended and I like it, Shellac’s are a little harder to work with and I need to work on my application technique.
“Joseph and Boy Jesus” project was also done with optimal and I put it in a frame that I have wanted to carve for a while.
These projects are done with Ver. 1.153

    Thumbs up

Ray, Nice job on all of them,

I often use Amber Shellac on many of my projects,
most of the time I cut mine 3 to 1, or 2 to 1
and use my low pressure spray gun or detail spray gun
so I can feather the the ambre color into the text or carvings.

    Default Ray's work

    Ray,

Those are great projects, your usual great work. I'm going to have to get my act together and get some stuff done - no way as much as you achieve though.

As for the shellac, I really only use it on walnut, gonna have to try it on other woods!
