I've noticed the last couple times that I have done a project about half way through abouts the RPM's all of a sudden go into hyper drive? Has this happened to any of you guys and is there a solution or should I not worry too much about it?

Using 1.178
Randy,
There's been a BUNCH of threads on this topic over the last year. Do a search on "Turbo Speed" and "Hyper Speed" and you'll find tons of info.
I see in your signature you're using 1.126 still. One of the 3 newer versions "might" help. More specifically, one of the last two.

I have been using 1.131, just haven't changed my sign line.
Using 1.178
Ran it appears to have gone away on mine since I changed to 1.132

I have 1.132 and previous versions back to 1.19 on standby

Thanks, I will have to give the new version a try.

I got this since I upgraded to 1.130 and above. Was running 1.132 on the last carve (before it broke, melted flex shaft) and it blew the muffler off during the last one. Did not have the speed change with 1.126 and below.

All these variations are interesting for sure.
I had the "turbo speed" issue from day one starting with 1.120 all the way to 1.130. It went away only after changing the cut motor and RPM sensor that came with it while still using 1.130. Haven't had it since.
I changed the motor only as a test for it. I should put my original motor and it's RPM sensor back in now that I'm using 1.132 and see what happens.
