It seems that there are a lot of these for sale these days. Although I like the machine, I just haven't used it as much as I thought I would. This one is one of the original models from 2006. 4 years...
Have you had any problems with the add-on being in the way when the spindle goes to the bit plate during the "precut" sequences?
Mabco12,
PM sent:mrgreen:
Clint,
As I am particular to my machine, which has been upgraded, to include the Rock spindle, I would have to disagree with you. I am glad you are liking your refurbished machine. However,...
Turned on the machine this am and got the following info from the options menu:
Total Cut Motor Time 78hrs 27min
Total Power On Time 2158hrs 15min
Total Servoing Time 93hrs 34min
Total...
Al...it would be nice if it didn't last long. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

No problem.
Since IE8 is still in beta, as you have noticed, some of the pages are not compatible. In the picture, you will notice under the Page drop down menu has a selection called "compatibility" view and...

Over here in Post Falls, we got around 37" overnight. BUT...the shop is nice and warm with carving dust on the floor. It took three times to clear the driveway and glad that is over.
The unfortunate thing is that the bit cuts/carves down the CENTER of the cut path. That is why the letters seem smaller. One of the wishes I made LONG ago is that the carver be allowed to determine...
Just a suggestion. How about taking a scrap peice of wood, doing some font carvings with different fonts in the different styles (raster, outline, centerline) and then let them see what they will be...
Some time ago, when the forum first started, the bugs were being worked out of the machine and dirt was created, a thread was created to state "You might own a Carvewright if...". It would be neat if...
Yes. They are meant for carrying the carvewright. It is safe to carry it as I have done it myself. :D
I found them at ACE. The specific size is #8-32 at 3/8" long. They will need the coarse threads. Hope this helps.
I redid the depth on your outline. Not sure why you are not able to select the cutout feature. However, the depth will leave a bit of a "skin" that will be able to cut out the rest. Hope this helps.
I am new here to the forum and it is my first post. First thing first...coodoes to the Carvewright team. The router is fantastic and I am having a ball doing things that have taken me forever (or at...
