Hi i want to carve a smaller deeper hole inside a shallow larger size hole. The larger hole would be 1/16" deep and the smaller hole would be 1/2" deep. i know i could do it by carving the smaller...
Thanks, yes it was firmly pushed in with the plastic pulled back. I will put a small dap of caulking on the connect.

just put a new z motor in. Did 6 crib boards without a problem, on the 7th, I got a z axis stall after 90 percent of the holes were drilled. I went through the Carvewright trouble shooting checklist...
I am having a strange problem in my carve. I have done 5 of these with perfect results. On the 6th carve the machine cut deeper lines across the carving in the middle of the carve but not at the...
I do have tape on the bottom of the sled. I will try cleaning the tracking wheel. Looking at the failed attempt there is a small glitch on the start end of all the boards and a bad alignment at the...
I am having trouble with the machine going off track when carving.
I attached two pictures to illustrate. The first one shows the lines and holes not aligning. I had three carves similar to this. At...
I just got in the new replacement X Drive gear. I installed the gear, but when i put the screw in that goes through the hole in the large gear and tighten it it jams the gears. If i take that screw...
Hi I have been asked by a local non profit to make this labyrinth. It is based on overlapping hearts. Any ideas on how to trace the outline and then use a 1/2" ballpoint bit to route? The sample one...
Thanks will do!
5th Time must be the charm! I assembled and really gave it a hard crank and the clutch popped and started moving. Thought i was going to break something. Anyway the click is 5 times stiffer than the...
Any way to test the clutch without assembling the side panel back on the machine? The shop is 72 degrees always so the temp is not a problem.
Yes, use the grease to hold the clutch in place as per video. I tried more spacers on the spring but no difference.
Spring is against the clutch plate.
Took apart the assembly and reassembled twice. Gear and handle spinng freely before putting back on the machine. Assembled back on the machine. When i lower the head the clutch is still not clicking....

I will do another scan. When i lay the carved vent over the plastic one and center the vents the carved one is smaller on all sides. This is the first time i have had this problem on a scan, but this...
I enlarged the board size. If you open the mpc in the software and click on the vent the box that gives the size comes up. That box is not matching up with the carving edges on the right and bottom...
Yes i am. So I deleted the back side and adjusted the size. When i highlight the image the size square still lines up on the left and top facing, but is off the carve on the bottom and right side.
I am just getting back to this vent. I tried adjusting the size in designer, but when i try to save it, the program changes the size to a larger one again. I have attached a picture of the MPC. If...
No but i did save it directly from scan into the carve pattern tool list, so no cut path option was involved that i saw.
i have scanned a dash vent from a 31 ford. The scan came out well and the carving looks good. The problem is the carving is coming out 1/8" smaller then the original. It looks like the carving bit is...
