I would turn the power off and manually move the truck up and down to see if you can feel any resistance. It would be sawdust built up in the belt or chip of wood lodged there it could also be bad...

Very nice!
Your only option is to go back to Mojave or buy the new software. This is LHR's fix that we were waiting on for over a year.
I use the Universal Sled all of the time, if you have a question just ask or PM me.
Very nice Oscar, please show a picture when the clock gets installed.
That's a pretty old post but I think he meant the cable was not fully seated in the connector.
I use the cheap double sided carpet tape you can get at any hardware store with no problems.
As always Oscar this came out great. I agree with the finishing process it is slow and boring and is my biggest weakness.
I would look at the FFC cable.
Thanks, I didn't think you could use the machine on leather but that just makes it an even better job.
Oscar, very nice was the design on the leather done with the Carvewright?
When I first got my machine about 10 years ago I had Designer installed on a Windows computer and a Mac with no problem. I never gave it a thought their rules just say 2 computers.
That's a hard question to answer, it all depends on what you want to do. I would suggest downloading the trial version of Designer Pro and the add ons and playing with them. There are many...
The numbers are done using Centerline Text. Do you have that add on?
Well since Bergerud hasn't chimed in yet I'll give you my opinion. I use the UCB quite often and it works well, my concerns with using it for 1/4 lithopone material is that the corian or what ever...
I just tried adding texture to your 14x12 Oval2 and it works for me. Are you highlighting the oval in the carving list?
I did something like that once by using the spline tool and tracing down the center of each grooved area and then assigning the bit.
You can do this by using the Pocket Cutting technique. Do a search on You Tube for "Making 8 by 10 picture frame by Steve Nelson46". He explains it very will.
I miss spoke about forgetting to crank the head down. If you forget to do that the carving will not be too shallow but the head pressure will not be correct, but I know from experience that if you...
Just don't forget to crank the head all the way down when it asks you to load a bit. I have done that several times and the carving is way too shallow and if you crank it down after it starts carving...
I'm assuming you are talking about the Universal Carrier Base? If so yes the touch holes are to the right.
What exactly is the machine doing when you get error message?
For recessed areas like your sign I use this technique: apply 2 coats of of sanding sealer to prevent paint from bleeding into the edges, paint the letters and the groove you do not have to be...
That is amazing!
Gary, Here is an other option, disable App Nap for your whole computer . Do a search for "disable App Nap system wide for Maverick"
