Hey Dick these look great! New inspiration for another day in the shop. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Any ideas for other carved wearables?
So my wife said it best in her Facebook post:
"So my husband, Frederick, likes to do woodworking as a hobby. He makes all sorts of cool things and especially some nifty wooden jewellery boxes....
This project was completed a couple of months ago but I have been too busy to post it. There are a lot of pics and info on this cabinet, so the best way for you to view it is to go to this link:...
Thanks again, everyone! Yes, Terry, it has taken quite a while. Mostly due to cost and trying to fit the project into whatever time I could get away from the studio. Oak and purple heart cost about...
Thanks everyone for your kind comments! I will also pass on to Oleanna your appreciation as well. You guys are the best!
Jerry,
Purple heart is getting harder to find. There are two kinds, African and Brazillian. This is Brazillian. If you can find some purple heart, it is a great wood to use if you want to hold the...
Yup. That's Oleanna. Thanks for the compliment!
Finally! After four years in the making, our kitchen is finally finished. Working as we had the time and could free up some spare cash, this kitchen gradually came to life. Oleanna (my wife also...
Geez, yah leave for a couple of days and look what happens. Michael, yes, please, please go ahead!! As for those of you who are confused, one pattern has already been created:...
I knew that this issue could be resolved. It seemed to me to be an issue of misunderstanding or lack of communication. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Lynn on doing a superb job...
Norbert,
I cannot see any reason why Carvewright would not wish to carry your patterns. They are in this for good business reasons and, of course, they wish to increase their bottom line in any way...
This is for Lynn... is there any reason why Mr. Dupuis cannot offer his patterns for sale on the pattern depot?
Well, it's your business, so I guess you can do whatever you want. However, I am puzzled by the logic of it all. Selling subscriptions to commercial companies that might require a large volume of...
There are some nice models here but I can't imagine needing 3650 of them. Let me know when you start selling individual models.
Why not use a redistribution center? You truck up a bunch of units and the Canadian customers get them delivered by ordering from you. One center in the east, one in the west and if it works, one in...
Lynn, you know I am a fan and I truly do want LHR to succeed. But at the risk of beating a dead horse, how is the Canadian distribution thing coming along? There are thousands of potential buyers...
Just a thought... try carving at a VERY shallow depth (say, 1/16th inch) and then wipe (not brush) some stain over it. The deeper part would hold more stain and the higher parts would get wiped away....
This place has some cool wooden clock designs and sell plans with DXF files so the conversion to the CW is a snap: http://www.woodentimes.com/
Hmmm.... couldn't find it on your store. Where should I be looking?
Still got the pattern???
Hey, Oleanna is proud to have fans! No offense taken. And if I might take this opportunity for a shameless plug, then you can get an original Oleanna print from our Art Gallery and Store (see link on...
Michael,
I see from the responses that this might be a popular pattern! Should I send you some more images or are you swamped at the moment? For those that are wondering, I have carved...
Michael,
Go ahead and publish the Oleanna pattern you have already made. I am in no hurry for cheques. Every four or six months would be fine. I'm just anxious to get some patterns that don't have...
