Thanks Perry! I'll check it out as soon as this current carve finishes! That way I can actually hear it, lol.
Thanks,

Hi All,
I am sure I missing something stupid here, but I can't get my brain to work right today..
I am trying to rotate these two groups 90 degrees so they both fit on one board. Anyone see...
Congrats on a very cool product, I see this adding a whole new level to the projects that can be accomplished. I am definitely in line for one of these, just holding off until I hear a bit more about...
That's the one! Thanks a million!! After I downloaded and installed it, I reopened the mpc and it shows up right.
Thanks,
Craig
Hi All,
Here is another sign I made for a buddies new home bar / man cave. All he wanted was the Gators logo and the Harley logo, his two favorite things.
I made this right before I had to...
Awesome! thanks everyone! I have been away for a day but I should be able to give this a test carve over the weekend.
BJB - I'm pretty sure that is going to work great for what I need, thanks!

Hi All,
Can anyone help me with this pattern? I have carved this logo of the Florida Gators a few times and it comes out very nice. I just want to add the overlayed text like in the picture, but...
Thanks for the mpc, I love that simple one. At first I thought it was two carves, set off 90 degrees and glued up, but the mpc shows it as a two sided carve! Even better!!
Great job!

Awesome job! Can't go wrong with jewelry boxes and I really like the big one shown!
Craig
Looking good, great to hear you are enjoying the machine!

Hi All,
I am looking for a Florida Gators pattern for a friend's home bar sign. I have a decent one of just the gator head, but I really would like something with the gator head and some kind of...
Hi Terry,
Seems I am late to the thread, but wanted to throw in my best wishes for a fast and full recovery.
I hope they at least upgraded you to a nice bionic version for your trouble :)

Wow, nice job Lawrence! What a great looking finish. I don't have any piles of legos, but I can sure see how that would be useful for a million other things. If my wife sees it I may be making one...
Hi Capt Bruce,
That's just my poor photography skills showing! The only contrasting wood is the center cross (hard maple, not glued in yet on this picture). The outlines you see are just a thin...
By the way, the project is a candle stand, to sit on the altar at our local church. The top was made from a glue up of (3) 3/4" pieces of sapele. The front and back were carved, the middle was just a...
Hi all,
It's been a while since I have been around, although I have poked my head in from time to time for a quick peek. I haven't done that many projects lately, and the few I have done haven't...
Congrats to the winners and thanks again to Terry for running the contest!!

Have you tried taking off the crank handle and cleaning it, and then give a quick shot of WD40 into the handle?
Craig
I believe low head pressure can cause the board to not move smoothly causing what you are seeing. I would start by making sure to lube the posts well and give an extra crank on the ratchet handle and...
Ohhh that's a good one! I remember seeing it now that you mention it, but it was lost in my memory banks somewhere! Thanks for reminding me!
Craig
Thanks again everyone for all the great tips and jigs. I am learning something new on every project, so I suppose that's good LOL.

Sorry, I guess I don't have all the terminology down yet. I am face gluing to get a thicker board.
I am actually trying to glue three cutouts together that have already been carved. A front...
Thanks guys, I was hoping I was doing something wrong but I guess I just need more practice at it. Thanks for the replies!!!
Craig
Hi All,
Quick question...when I glue up two or more boards together width-wise do I apply glue to both mating surfaces or just one? I am trying to get a thicker board by gluing some 3/4 inch...
