Search:

Belt moves fine while measering board. Stops (or moves very little ~1/32 inch) while carving.

When pattern starts to carve board will not advance. Bit continues to cut back and forth across the width and not along the length. Any ideas?

Over the weekend when I had the close cover issue I was in the middle of a large project that I did not want to loose, so after checking/cleaning the switches I "hot wired" them so I could complete...

Finially got the cover problem solved, now motor will not run. Machine goes threw the setup normally and gets to "carve pattern" but motor does not start. Quick check does not show any loose wires....

Finally got plug back in. Took care of the cover open error. Loaded project and started program...got "check motor" message. Flex cable had come loose when I took cover off. Need to learn to check...

Wish I had a pair of them. Thank goodness Lowes is less than a mile up the road. This gives me a good excuse to go shopping..

I had same problem a while back. Used a piece of styrofoam ~ 1" thick to keep flapper out. I don't bother to remove it after it locates bit - havn't had any problem with this.

Took your advise and cut a test piece - ran great. The project I was trying to cut is one I have ran several times with no problem so can't understand what was wrong with the pattern. Tried using...

Tried again. At 7% completion it started to carve - but board does not advance and bit keeps cutting deeper back and forth until it is through the board.

It's a new project, I let it go untill it showed 5% completion, will check cables.

The bit that is slightly grayed out is the bit assigned to the cut. At this screen you can select another bit to do the cut.

After measuring board, I get this when trying to find bit tip on swing out plate. Can't find any info on this error #. Has anybody else run into this?

Selet the text box after you apply it to the board.

Select text then look in upper left hand corner, you will see several boxes for depth, length, angle etc. Click in the depth box and change as needed.
