I like to sand and clean the sign and then paint the complent sign with a sanding sealer to cover the pores in the wood so there is no bleeding form the paint and after I finish paniting and it drys...

I agree with you AL, but in a pinch these will work they are the same-same just a bit wider carbon block and the sandding fixed that,Thank's for looking out.

Thank's Hess I found a set at Ace they are a littel wider but I can sand them down.

That's a big sander, I play with a delta x-5 it's a good fit for my shop, But thank's for that tip I'll give it a try.

I've used mineral spirits before and then used a steel brush worked ok the glue didn't get soft but it took all day, it should go faster with the sprayer, I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Thank's boy's ,I think I'll soak the sandpaper in some mineral spirits and then blast them with my 1200 psi sprayer.

Dose anyone out there have a cleaning technique for drum sanders, the littel rubber blocks don't cut-it, any good idea out there?
