I've got a ton of reading to do --- Agian!!
ehh ...one more i just did up
The only way I know how to make an image carve "Centerline" in the CW unit, is to make the image with a font generator.
Does the new DXF program carve the image in a centerline format?
I made a MPC to show you what I mean. You need to load the font (Zipped file) to see the image.
I just posted an entire page of sign shapes and blanks.

When you import the DXF into the editor it simply generates a "line drawing" that you export the the Designer Software. Once it is there you can do with it as you wish ... designate areas as a carve region or simply specify the lines as a carved line using the bit that you select.
If you highlight all of the lines and select the bit that you want to use ... say the 90 degree V bit. Then Select a depth of the carve. It carves these as a vector, or like Centerline.
Lots of Funnnnnnnnnnn.
Can you share how you made that DXF file.
Very nice, Thanks i'll have a look at those. I wished the CW could V carve other image and vector types. I can do it with my new machine, even from a photo. You guys just don't wanna know what the retail is on my software package. I didn't pay even close to it but $2400 for software is a bit much.
What file types are used to make ptn files. I've got some nice emboss features i could actually take a crack at it.
Thanks
