Search the web for 3d chess sets. For example search "STL chess sets". Look at images and see if you find something you like. Provide a link to it here and someone here can import the stl into Designer for you.
Maybe these will work
Could you separate them? If not I will work it some how. Thanks Roy.
Thanks for the help. Roy
Here's a couple I did real quick.

I really like these pieces, is the rest of the set available?
Alan hasn't logged on for a while.
I don't believe I have seen an entire set together but I might have just missed it.
I went back to school in my old age to try to keep my brain active so haven't had a lot of time to make patterns but these are easy. Whipped up a few models. If you (or anyone) like them I'll convert them to patterns. I am not super happy with the knight but have two versions. Might make a 3rd version if I have time.
I am waiting for some renders to finish for homework so decided to port all the patterns over while I was waiting. Hopefully patterns of use to someone.
Here is what they look like.
Look great, might even try a double sided just to see how they turn out.
Thanks, appreciate these,
Rick H
Thanks all for trying them out.
Henry, I have not thought about using the CW to make a chess board. Normally would use table saw for the top with different wood species. Though I would think it would be easy to do as a two piece carve for 3x3 or 2x2 squares.
Now a chest board might get a bit R-rated. ;)
Henry, good. Let us know how it comes out.
tried to post them and won't let me
