There are several, and I won't mention names, that we should keep in our thoughts or prayers. Some we don't know and some that are important parts of our lives on a somewhat daily basis.
I know many wonderful people on here and even though we may not ever meet face to face, we are friends.
Prayers for our Arkansas family. Please check in and let us know you are ok. Steve (skeeterman) and many others in the area...
Some of my extended family reported in, they live close to Fayetteville.
Also for those in North Carolina. My family is in Central North Carolina and all reported OK...
The Mayflower and Vilonia areas were especially hard hit - a bit north of Little Rock and about 30 miles east of where I am. What makes the Vilonia hit even worse (if that is possible) was that they were hit in just about the same spot three years ago and the school destroyed then had just finished being rebuilt and would've been ready for the upcoming fall. I don't know how long the track was but it was on the ground for a while with reports of it being anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 mile wide. There were fatalities but haven't heard any of the news stations yet today for an update.Quote:

I understand not everyone believes in prayer, but I do, and if you do, too, we have a particular need in our midst and God knows who it is for. Thanks for sending up a special request for healing and peace.

I found out today that John Fowler (racer) is in the hospital. He was hospitalized for double pneumonia and collapsed lung, then had two heart attacks while in the hospital.
Prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery to one of our CW family members!
John is, also, one of our START U members.
He is in my prayers.

Pray for God to put His healing hands on this friend. We all know that He has a special place for artists and especially carpenters. May He also be with the family and support them in this difficult time.
