It did take 93/128 thanks for the help
I downloaded a inches to decimal chart and it's on my wall in front of me, I know the decimal to inches on the main factions from the 1.0 to the 16th's by memory but have to refer to the chart for the 32nd's & 64th's that is where calipers come in...
yes, it takes fractions
no, it doesn't need to 'be' in multiples of 1/128", but it will round the number to a multiple of 1/128".
In older builds, sometimes when entering digits, adding the decimal and deleting it doesn't properly 'remember' that you can add the decimal again. Exiting the prompt and going back always fixes the problem.
The fraction would be written out as such 723/1000
The only thing that I hate about math is there is always a right and wrong... never could make it though algrabra .... X equal's Z and I have no idea Y
Quick question: I am trying to carve a board that is 1 1/32 thick tried entering 1 and 1 1/32 and 1.1 and 33/32... What am I doing wrong?
Where are you trying to enter this number?
Attachment 81357I am running a carve I have done years ago and it has asked me to add the bit and then asked me to enter board thickness
