Frederick... What a fantastic kitchen. I really like the way you framed in the archways.
WOW X 2 = DOUBLE WOW! Really a Fantastic Job!
Fantastic, and those beams are giving me ideas.
well done you too.
Really? That's it? JUST KIDDING!! Dang-it!! That one beautiful home Maid(sic) kitchen! The contrast between the woods is perfect. And always nice to see your beautiful wife. Love her outfit!
My hats off to you Sir. One hell of a Kitchen Nice work.
Excellent work, beautiful cabinets! A beautiful model never hurts! It has been a while since you started those, I think. It was worth the wait to see them finished!
Frederick,
One wonderful job on the caving and finish work on your kitchen
It is really Oustanding.............A+ all the way......................
Thanks again, everyone! Yes, Terry, it has taken quite a while. Mostly due to cost and trying to fit the project into whatever time I could get away from the studio. Oak and purple heart cost about the same as heroin (not that I have any idea what heroin sells for!) and because the kitchen walls were so out of square (like, 1 - 2" difference over two feet) I first made cardboard mock-ups to test the fit. The raised panels had to be glued up and planed with an extra 4" on each end before they could be carved. There were several times when I had to throw them out because of either a machine error or having the wood split.
We had posted some other pics of the cabinets in progress before: http://forum.carvewright.com/album.php?albumid=71 but I think it's better to see them in place.
