CarveWright Forum Guidelines and Posting Policies

The CarveWright forum exists as a venue and resource for all members of the CarveWright community. It is a place where users can share tips, tricks, ideas, patterns, and projects for the CarveWright and CompuCarve machines and software. In an effort to ensure a friendly and helpful community, we have developed the following guidelines and posting policies.

We always appreciate good suggestions and will work to continuously improve our products and the forum. Suggestions for forum management or improvements should be emailed to the forum administrator (forum@carvewright.com). Remember this is your resource. Please treat those encountered on the forum with due respect and civility.

Guidelines:

• Please search the existing forum topics first before you ask your question. Most likely your question has already been asked and answered.
• Do not expect the CarveWright staff to respond to specific posts on the forum. If you need to talk to CarveWright, please contact us directly.
• Please make sure that questions and comments will benefit all forum users. Two-way correspondence typically does not.
• Unnecessary and unproductive complaining and whining will not be tolerated on this forum. Posts containing such will immediately be closed and/or deleted.
• Please keep the forum clean. Only post if you can contribute to a thread. Junk posts or threads will be deleted.
• Please try to post in an appropriate topic for your discussion, off-topic posts may be moved or deleted.
• CarveWright staff and forum moderators have the final say on what passes for appropriate material. If you believe your post was removed for an unwarranted reason please contact the moderators.

Policies:

1. While debate and discussion are fine, insulting posts, personal attacks, intentionally inflammatory posts, or posts intended primarily as put-downs or one-ups are not acceptable. Posts that are threatening, abusive, obscene, sexual in nature, or that violate community standards will not be tolerated.
2. Discussion of, or use of, the forum in illegal activities such as software piracy or other intellectual property violations are not permitted.
3. Posts or threads containing misleading information or misrepresentation, distortion, or libel of CarveWright, CarveWright products, or CarveWright personnel will be deleted.
4. Meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsense posts, personal conversations and the like should be posted elsewhere or taken private.
5. Advertising, spamming, and trolling are not allowed. This includes using the Forum email or message system to spam other members. Product announcements of direct interest to the CarveWright community are acceptable, but blatant advertisements or repetitious discussions of outside products are not allowed.
6. Registration is now required for posting. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
7. Do not post personal information (i.e. addresses or phone numbers) of yourself or others.

These policies will be enforced through user infractions and when necessary editing or deleting posts or threads. Users who commit serious or repeated infractions will be banned, either temporarily or permanently.

While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure the Forum is not disrupted or abused, and that will ensure its continuation as a source of information and inspiration.

Access to this Forum is a privilege that we grant. In using it you acknowledge these guidelines and accept your responsibility in maintaining the value of the Forum. Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries.
