Hey Gents,
Trying to make something for my daughter. She's describing it as a Life Preserver ring with a rope around it and in the middle is cut out so she can put a picture in it. Don't know what size, but I guess enough to go on a 11" wide board. She's working on a "military wall" for her husband (Navy). Any help or ideas on how do this would be greatly appreciated. Something about the rope around the ring to fit loosely around the life ring and the ring having some type of ribbon stripes around it? Guess I don't know too much about it since I'm retired Army. ha ha I told her it must be a "squid thing". :D

That is what i was looking for.
I went to the gallery and all i could find was ship's wheels. one of them could be used if the center is cut out.
Just MHO....

Bingo... I think this is it. I'll try and see if I can import this in to PE and hope I can make a decent .mpc. Wish me luck! Thanks again.

Chebytrk, you stated in your PM to me;
“She wants to post pictures in each ring and not have any type of plaque (just the ring and rope only). Maybe even remove the welcome aboard message.”
You can select “Outline” PTN and select cutout for the parts you want to remove. The PTN has the background removed.
I would leave the carve region and only outline the pattern, to cut the PTN only this leaves a background for her to paste the images to. The rope parts may break off if left in open air.
To remove the words, “Welcome Aboard” I would need your e-mail address. When I make my PTN’s I change the image to a 300 DPI – this makes the files too large to post, over 1 MB each. It is easy to clean that up.
I can sent you the complete folder, about 6 MB.
